Dr Gopalareddy is a familiar face to many in Port Macquarie, having patients across practices. Her extensive experience spans international work, the NSW public health system, and non-profit community health services. Dr. Gopalareddy has a special focus on family medicine & skin cancer medicine. Additionally, she is dedicated to the education and training of future healthcare professionals, actively involved in teaching medical students and training General Practitioners (GPs).

Dr Cooke has been a longstanding general practitioner within the area and is one of the only general practitioners within the local area who specialises in the field of Aviation Licence Medical's. Dr Cooke has had extensive rural experience having practised from Port Macquarie right through to Gunnedah.

Dr Hain is a well-known and respected general practitioner who has practised in the area for over 38 years. Dr Hain offers his patients an integrative and holistic approach to complex health conditions. Dr Hain's integrative approach to health brings patients from far and wide.

Dr Stacey has a wealth of General Practice experience, having worked for many years in Tamworth, and for the Royal Flying Doctor Service at Ayers Rock NT prior to that. Along with all aspects of General Practice including skin assessments, his special area of interest is Occupational Medicine. He conducts CASA Aviation medicals, Rail and Commercial Driver medical assessments, all types of pre-employment medical assessments as well as workplace injury management.

Dr Shrestha brings with him a wealth of expertise after working in public hospitals within Australia and Nepal for many years and in a broad range of departments. His interests include Family and Geriatric Medicine, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, and Hormone Disorders including Diabetes and Thyroid disorders.

Dr Farheen Khan is a medical practitioner with over 10 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She worked at Port Macquarie Base Hospital for four years and has extensive experience within the Australian healthcare system. She is an Associate Member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), having successfully completed Advanced Procedural Training through RANZCOG in Australia. She has a professional interest in women’s health, catering to women of all ages, and is committed to delivering compassionate and patient-centred care.

Dr Manon Daniels completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Bristol, UK in 2017 as well as a Bachelor of Science in Global Health in 2014. She has gained extensive experience across Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Mental Health, General Practice, and Geriatrics, and has worked in variouslocations across Australia since moving from Wales in 2019, before settling in Port Macquarie in 2023. Dr Daniels is due to complete her Fellowship in General Practice through the RACGP this year and enjoys all areas of General Practice, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, holistic, patient-centred care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, cooking, travelling, and exploring the local area.

Dr Werner Truter is a paediatrician with extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of paediatric conditions, including ADHD, as well as developmental and neurodevelopmental issues. He is a doctor from University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and completed paediatric training at the University of the Free State. In 2012, Dr Truter moved to New Zealand, where he worked at Palmerston North Hospital until 2023. He has special interest in paediatric cardiology, in addition to general paediatric expertise. He is married to Rix du Plessis, a Radiation Oncologist at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.

Dr Thomas "Tom" D. Riisfeldt is incredibly excited and proud to be the first ever permanently-based neurologist working in Port Macquarie! He has worked in Port Macquarie for 3 years previously and has a strong connection to the region at both professional and personal levels, and he is now returning home after completing his extensive training in epilepsy, neurophysiology/neuromuscular medicine and all other areas of clinical neurology in various metropolitan sites in NSW and interstate.

Ms Marianne Plahn, is a Clinical Psychologist, who has been practising as a Psychologist for 30 years and as a Registered Clinical Nurse Specialist for 15 years. She is registered to practise as a Psychologist in Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She is a member of the Australian Society College of Clinical Psychologists and she is a registered Medicare Provider. She moved from Sydney to strengthen our team at Port Macquarie.
Kerry is our multi location nurse and has been part of the team since 2014. Graduating as an RN in 2011 she has developed a passion for primary health care. Kerry's key nursing interests include immunisations, wound care, Women's health and Mental health.
Nick is our practice nurse at both Lighthouse Medical Centre and Hermitage Hastings Medical Centre. Specialising in primary health care through post-graduate studies and having worked as a personal trainer, he is passionate about health and fitness. Key interests include men's health, musculoskeletal and chronic disease management, wound care, and immunisations.
Maryrose is the Administration Manager for the three practices, which includes this practice. Her attitude towards work is unquestioned by all staff and she believes in getting the job done without compromising on quality. She has over 25 years experience in medical administration and is the go to person in our practices.
Fiona has been part of the Lighthouse admin team for seven months, working closely with the specialists, doctors and nursing staff to ensure that patients receive high quality treatment in a timely manner.
